Swing Cats Performing at the Woodbury Royalty Fundraiser

Rhythm & Swing perform traditional and current Swing Dance styles at theatres, festivals, special events and dances. Fast-paced footwork and breathtaking aerials exemplify this original American high-energy dance style as performed to a variety of swing, big band, jump blues and jazz artists.

Rhythm & Swing performs to either pre-recorded or live music, and have worked with a variety of bands including the Senders, The Wolverines, Beasley's Big Band, Roseville Big Band, Doug Haining & The Twin Cities Seven, Steve Clarke & The Working Stiffs and others. Sponsored by TC Swing, the ensemble has been featured locally and regionally at numerous events including the Minnesota State Fair, Wheatland Traditional Arts Festival, Capital New Year, Confederate Air Force USO-style dances, USABDA events, the Landmark Center's Sundays at the Landmark and more. Rhythm & Swing has also been spotlighted on the KARE 11 Today Show, and at schools, seniors and community events, representing the fascinating history of this traditional American social dance style.
